Thank you for the tremendous effort you put into your site. It is a great blessing and a must read every day. It seems like every where I read just about every one, that is all born again believers, are expecting the rapture very soon, but the Bible says it will happen at a time when it is not expected . The thought that we might have to wait longer for it to occur is sad, can you please comment.
I don’t think that’s really what the Bible says. In 1 Thes. 5:4 Paul said we should not be surprised by the appearance of end times events. In Matt. 24:42-44, 24:50, 25:13 the Lord said no one will know the day and hour when He will return, but He was talking about the 2nd Coming, not the rapture. A quick look at Matt. 24:29-30 and Matt, 24:36-37 will verify this. The Church should be watching and waiting for the rapture to happen at any moment.
