A question came up in Sunday School this week about the Ancient of Days: Is He Jesus or God the Father, or sometimes either depending on the context?
A
The phrase “Ancient of Days” appears three times in Scripture, all in Daniel 7. Each time it refers to God the Father. In Daniel 7: 13 both Father and Son are in view with the Father being called “The Ancient of Days” while the Son is called ” one like the Son of man.”
