With everything that’s going on in Egypt there’s a lot of speculation that Morsi is the ‘cruel leader’ mentioned in Isaiah 19. My question is, could that prophecy be fulfilled before Isaiah 17, the destruction of Damascus?

I think it’s too early in this latest crisis in Egypt to predict how it will go. We’ll have to wait a while to see if it’s the fulfillment of a specific prophecy or just another in the growing string of wars and rumors of war Jesus mentioned in Matt. 24:6.
