Different Races. Follow Up

Q

Re: the different races. I have argued that races were man made not from God. I use Act 17:26 to defend this. “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” What do you think?

I think Acts 17:26 either means all of us are descended from the first man, Adam, or more specifically from Noah. I believe from God’s point of view there are three races of mankind; Jews, Gentiles, and the Church. When Paul said God was making one new man out of the two (Ephesians 2:15) I think he meant that while some of us were formerly Jews and others were gentiles we’re now called the Church. He confirmed this idea in Galatians 3:28 when he said in the church there are neither Jews nor Gentiles, and in 1 Cor. 10:32 where he said we shouldn’t cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews Greeks (gentiles) or the Church of God. In chapter 2 of my “Seven Things” book, I explored this in much greater detail showing how the origin and destiny of each group is different.
