Matt. 24:24 tells us that in the last days there will be false Christs and prophets. They do great signs and wonders and if it were possible
they would fool the Elect. Who are these? The thing is it can’t be Muslims as they wouldn’t fool the Elect.

Since Matt. 24:24 follows Matt.24:21 it means that these false Christs and prophets will appear during the Great Tribulation. Of course the greatest of these will be the anti-Christ and the false prophet. In 2 Thes. 2:9 Paul mentions these counterfeit signs and miracles, saying that they’ll come from Satan and will deceive the people on Earth at the time.
