Flesh, Blood and The Kingdom of God

Q

1 Corinthians 15:50 says that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. Yet the Millennium seems to be populated with people in their mortal bodies. How is one to reconcile these two points? Thanks for your response.

A

The Kingdom of God is headquartered in two locations. The one where the church will reside is called the New Jerusalem, where only perfect, immortal beings can enter. (Revelation 21:27) This is what Paul was talking about.

On earth, there will still be natural people who have become believers during the end times judgements. They will go live in their natural state into the kingdom age, which will be headquartered in Israel. If they are Jewish, they’ll live there. And if they are gentiles, they’ll repopulate the nations.

It’s this part of the kingdom that will still experience sin.  And that’s why there will be a temple where sacrifices for sin will be conducted daily. (Ezekiel 40-46)
