Concerning God’s Argument Against Evolution, you state that God rounded up those fallen angels and is holding them for judgment. I do believe that, but due to the Nephilim showing up later in the land of Canaan, was it a different group that did this a second time?
My statement that God rounded up the fallen angels who produced the Nephilim before the flood is supported by 2 Peter 2:4 and Jude 1:6. The original Nephilim were destroyed in the Great Flood. The creatures mentioned in Numbers 13:32-34 by the spies Moses sent into the promised land were part of a second effort by Satan, this time to prevent the Israelites from taking the land God promised them.
Remember, Genesis 6:4 tells us there were Nephilim on the Earth before the flood, and also later. I believe “also later” a reference to the second group. This time God used the Israelites to defeat the Nephilim west of the Jordan River, while the descendants of Esau and Lot were given the task of defeating those on the Eastern side (Deut. 2:2-23).
