I have a question about those of us who will start with zero or very little heavenly wealth when we get to heaven. After we arrive in our eternal home will there be any hope for us to change our situation? I really hope we won’t have to live in eternal poorness even by heavenly standards as a consequence of our earthly Christian lives. The Bible is silent on this but I’d like to know what do you think?
No one can predict how much heavenly wealth they’ll have or how it will impact their eternal lives. But there’s absolutely no reason for you to think you won’t have any. We don’t know how our lives will be evaluated, but my guess is the things we’re most proud of will be burned up while the things we don’t even remember doing will have great significance. Remember, heaven is not a place for embarrassment it’s a place for eternal bliss.
