The Holy Spirit

Q

How come the Holy Spirit is not worshiped in the Book of Revelation? He has no throne in heaven like the Son and the Father? I believe He is deity, the third person in the trinity, with all personal qualities mentioned in the bible, but the fact that He has no throne in heaven comes as a challenge to me. What are your thoughts?

A

I think of the Holy Spirit as the “undercover” member of the Trinity. Jesus said He does not speak on His own, but only repeats what He hears (John 16:13).

God has a name no one knows, Jesus has a name everyone knows, but the Holy Spirit has no name.

He is depicted as a cloud, a wind, and a breath, but the only physical representation we’re given is in Rev. 4:5 where He is symbolized by seven blazing lamps, positioned before the Throne of God in Heaven.
