Q
It’s obvious that Satan is the ruler of this world & I don’t doubt his power and influence, but I’m wondering how he is able to tempt so many people around the world every day? He certainly isn’t omnipresent in the same way that God is, so how does he do it?
A
Not being a physical being Satan is not hampered by physical limitations, so he can get around pretty fast. And while he’s not omni-present, he does have an army of demons to help him. However, he derives most of his assistance from man’s sin nature. For example, during the Millennium when Satan is bound, natural man will still sin and will eventually rebel against God. While Satan brought sin into God’s creation, his personal presence is certainly not necessary to keep it here.
