Q. I have a question that I have not heard discussed. When the 10 tribes were scattered all over the world some didn’t come back when the Jews came back after Babylon. If these people have lost their identity over the ages and have not retained their Jewish identity. How will they know to go back to Israel if they don’t now know they are an Israelite?
A. The genealogy records were lost when the Temple was destroyed so individuals might not know their heritage, but God knows who His people are and will place it on their hearts to return. After the Battle of Ezekiel He will gather them to their own land not leaving any behind (Ezekiel 39:28).
