I just read your article “I Will Bless Those Who Bless You.” I have always been fascinated by the swift punishment from the Lord after harsh dealings with Israel. Given the shoddy treatment of Netanyahu this week, should we expect another physical blow to our country? Or was the passage of the health care bill enough? That law will do more economic damage to our country than all of the previous natural disasters combined. Do you see US-Israel relations healing at all in the near future or are we at that point where we have cast them aside and Israel truly is alone in this world?
If the US government forces Israel into yielding covenant lands to the Palestinians, and especially if it includes part of Jerusalem, I would expect another “natural disaster”. That’s been the pattern so far.
As for abandoning Israel, whether it’s now or later the US will leave Israel in the lurch. For example, I don’t believe the Moslem coalition will dare attack Israel as foretold in Ezekiel 38 until they’re certain the US will not retaliate. And in the final battle for Jerusalem, Zechariah 12:3 & 14:2 say all the nations of the Earth will line up against Israel.
