Life On Other Planets?

Q

I was reading a forum that argued if other life could exist somewhere in the universe or not.

I’ve heard of the Nephilim, but apart from them, does the Bible draw the line anywhere on whether or not other life could exist somewhere?

I’ve always believed it doesn’t, but I can’t remember if I based that on something I read in the Bible or not.

A

Other than the Spiritual realm where the angels, and even God Himself dwell, the Bible makes no mention of life as we know it anywhere except Earth. Personally I don’t believe there is life anywhere else, but if it does exist on other planets, and if those life forms are sinners, then Jesus died for them as well. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world …” The Greek word translated world here is cosmos, and can be interpreted to include the entire universe.
