Is there a trend now for Pastors of Mega-churches to gloss over the fact that we are all sinners dead in our sin until we call on Jesus to be our Savior? I know I’ve seen this happen at small churches as well, but it’s like droves and droves of people are flocking to the megas because they can remain comfortable when listening to the message. What can I do about it? How can I help people see that we are a hopeless people, a hopeless generation, without Christ as our savior?
This is just one more indication that the apostasy that Paul foretold in 2 thes. 2:3 has begun. You’ll see more and more of this as the end draws nearer. True believers are being separated from the others to prepare the rapture.
What can you do? Just keep insisting on the clear unmistakable gospel that we’re sinners in need of a Savior, and Jesus agreed to be our Savior. He died for our sins so that we could live eternally with Him. Tell it to any one you can while you can, because soon it’ll be too late for them.
