Misinterpreting Isaiah 26:15?

Q

I have been reading your articles and enjoy getting your perspective. One thing I want to mention is that you may have mis-interpreted a scripture in Isaiah 26:15

“Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.” (King James Version)

That should be interpreted as our LORD’s nation being increased throughout the far ends of the Earth is the true believer’s in Yeshuah has been increased and not the sons of Israel (Jews).
I see you mentioned that it may happen through a future battle expanding borders from a future battle as mentioned in Psalms 83. Psalms 83 is the same wrath of GOD mentioned in Ezekiel 38-39 and that will not increase any land mass of Israel but cause the 7 year peace treaty between Israel and her enemies originated by the antichrist and the start of the 7 year tribulation.

Just wanted to bring it to your attention.

Sorry, but I disagree on both counts. Isaiah 26:15 says that God has (present) increased the nation but had (past) removed it (from being a nation) and scattered the people to the ends of the earth. Contrast “hast” and “hadst” in the KJV. The context of the passage is the end of the Age, after the Church is gone.

And if you’ll notice, the nations involved in Psalm 83 are not the same as the ones involved in Ezekiel 38. These two battles are not the same. Psalm 83 will precede Ezekiel 38, perhaps by several years.
