Not Priests And Not Kings

Q. My question has to do with those martyred during the Tribulation. If I understand your teaching correctly, these are not part of the church/bride who will reign with Christ and are called priests and Kings. Revelation 20:4 says some of these martyrs came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.” What does it mean “and reigned with Christ for a thousand years? What is their destiny in the millennium?

A. The first ones to arrive in Heaven after the Church has been raptured serve God in His Temple but are not called priests (Rev. 7:9-17). The martyrs resurrected in Rev. 20:4-6 to reign with Christ are called priests but not kings. Only the Church is given the dual designation of Kings and Priests. I think these martyrs serve in a subordinate level to the Church in the administration of the Millennial Kingdom.
