The Bible says to obey your mother and father. In fact, it says to stone children who are disobedient (Deuteronomy 21: 18-21). What should I do if my parents tell me to do something that goes against God’s word?

The Bible does not put people under conflicting instructions. If your parents tell you to do something that in your opinion goes against God’s word and you’re still under their care and authority, then they’re accountable to God just as you’re accountable to them. If you’re out of the house and on our own, then you’re accountable to God and they’re no longer responsible for you.
