Re: Observing History. What do you think about Isaiah 65:17? My pastor, a godly man who faithfully preaches verse by verse each week, says that in Heaven we won’t remember anything about our past lives. I think we’ll remember everything but with God’s perspective on everything.

For a lot of years I taught the same thing about Isaiah 65:17. But then I realized that Isaiah 65:17-25 concerns Israel on Earth in the Millennium, and is not about the Church. I believe the Lord was telling His people that He would mercifully cause them to forget the terrible ways in which their ancestors had often treated Him, just as He has forgotten it.
