I read your website every day. I thank God for finding it, I look forward to it, and save most of it on flash drives. But concerning on your recent post on one baptism, what about John 3:5 where it says you must be born again by water and spirit to enter the gates of heaven ? I really would like to know what you think.

The word “again” does not appear in John 3:5, and the issue in this verse is not baptism, it’s birth. Being born by water is the physical birth, the first one. Being born by the spirit is the second birth, the one that saves us and gives us permission to enter God’s Kingdom. Baptism is symbolic of the second birth.
