One of our pastors tapped me to organize a prayer warriors team with the purpose of interceding for the church activities, needs of the church, our congregational attendees and national needs. I was asked to have the prayer warriors sign a Confidentiality Agreement for each one to keep to themselves the prayer requests of others. This is the first time I have come across such a thing so I am asking for enlightenment.
Becoming a designated Prayer Warrior is a big responsibility and involves dealing with sensitive information. Your pastor knows your team might become privy to some things that would be embarrassing to others if they got out. The members will have to trust you with these things if they want your team to pray for them. Knowing you’ve signed a confidentiality agreement will make them more comfortable giving you their private prayer requests.
