I have been looking at the 109th Psalm. I know it’s about Israel and not David. Can this be about the anti-christ, as some are saying? I have to wonder if it is because the anti-christ is slain by the breath of Jesus and the millennial reign begins.
I’ve read this Psalm a number of times recently and I really don’t see any connection to the anti-Christ. The details of the man’s personal life, with a wife and family, and property, certainly don’t fit with what we know about the anti-Christ. Nor does the idea of the courts turning against him, or a creditor seizing his property. These things don’t make sense given who the anti-Christ is and how powerful he’ll be.
By the way, the anti-Christ won’t be among those slain by the breath of the Lord’s mouth. According to Rev. 19:20, he and the false prophet will be thrown alive into the lake of fire.
