When Jesus appears in the clouds and we are translated, will anyone on earth see Him? When we are changed “in the twinkling of an eye”, does that also mean that immediately we are in heaven, or are we still with him in the clouds at that moment and then taken to heaven? Do you believe then that anyone on earth will be witness to anything but our absence?
I don’t believe anyone on earth will see Jesus or even be aware of what’s going on at the time. In 1 Cor. 15:51-52 Paul said the rapture will take place in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye. To me that means no one, including us, will know what’s happening until it’s over. In one instant we’ll be on Earth and in the next we’ll be in the presence of the Lord.
As to whether we gather in the clouds first and then continue to His Father’s house or go straight there, no one knows.
