Rosh Hashanah Rapture?

Q

Some Messianic Jewish teachers and lay individuals teach that during Feast of Trumpets at a certain point in time the Lord will initiate the Rapture of the Church. Can the Church, predominantly gentile, assume the Rapture will occur at some point during that appointed Jewish feast?

A

I’m not a proponent of the Rosh Hashanah Rapture theory. I don’t believe the rapture has to happen on a specific day, but will take place on whatever day the full number of the church is reached (Romans 11:25). Also I believe the history of Rosh Hashanah makes it more likely that the 2nd Coming will be its prophetic fulfillment. For example, it’s probably the date of Adam’s birth and the Lord’s birth (which means it’s the day the Lord came the first time.) And it’s the day when Kings in Israel officially began their reign.
