In “Satan’s fall from heaven” you write: “But that will end at the beginning of the Great Tribulation when he (Satan) and his forces will be forcibly and permanently expelled (from heaven).” My question: Until that happens, where might Satan and his forces dwell, apart from sowing havoc on earth? Where might their habitation be, when not on earth? Are the whole evil bunch allowed somewhere in heaven?
Rev. 12:7-8 gives us the answer.
“Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.”
Rev. 12 takes place right on the threshold of the Great Tribulation. Until that time Satan and his angels have “a place” in heaven. When Michael and his angels defeat them they will lose their place in heaven and will all be hurled to Earth (Rev. 12:9).
