Satan tried to prevent Jesus from coming to the earth by contaminating the human genome. One of the reasons for the Flood was to wipe out the hybrid-humans produced by the fallen angels mating with human women. Noah and his family were the only genetically uncontaminated humans. Through Herod’s decree to kill all male boys 2 and younger, Satan tried to destroy Jesus again but failed. Now that Jesus has won for mankind the chance for eternal life and Satan has been defeated, why is Satan still trying to destroy the Jews via the Holocaust and now through another oncoming Mideast war? It can’t just be a supernatural hissy fit. Satan must see a way to avoid his ultimate destruction if he can kill the Jews.
In Hosea 5:15 there’s a prophecy of the Lord’s return to heaven after being rejected by Israel. It says.
“Then I will go back to my place until they admit their guilt. And they will seek my face, in their misery they will earnestly seek me.”
A few days before His crucifixion Jesus said, “Look, your house is left to you desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord’” (Matt. 23:39).
Scholars have interpreted these verses to mean that Jesus will not return to Earth until Israel officially petitions Him to do so. They speculate that Satan believes if he can wipe out Israel before that happens he can prevent the Lord’s return.
This may be why we’re seeing such a rapid increase in the frequency and intensity of anti-semitism in the world today. If so, it’s another sign that the end is near.
