Staying On Fire

Q

My question is how can I know for certain that I am in the middle of God’s will for my life? And also how can I stay continually on fire for God?

A

Romans 12:1-2 says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

To me that means giving our whole life over to God to do with as He pleases. When you get rid of everything else and have only Him, there’s no more interference drowning out what He tells you. And He will tell you what His will for you is. After all that’s why He created you. As far as staying on fire for Him, when you’re in His will, you will be on fire for Him, because you’ll realize there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.
