I am in a Genesis study and would like to know more about the “fall of Satan”. I would like to have scripture passages as to “how”, “when”, “where” and “why”.

The bulk of the information the Bible provides on Satan can be found in Isaiah 14:12-17 and Ezekiel 28:12-19. As far as the when is concerned all we know for sure is that it had to precede Genesis 3 because by then Satan was already an adversary. I happen to believe it took place between the first two verses of Genesis 1.
