Our bible study group is studying the 2nd book of Kings. Could you tell me what book is referred to when it says “The rest of the events of (name of King) and his deeds are recorded in the Book of The History of the kings of Israel, (or Judah)”.
We don’t know if it is referring to these books, or another.

1 & 2 Kings is the Biblical account of the Kings of both Israel (northern Kingdom) and Judah (Southern Kingdom). The reference you mention is to a non-Biblical record of the history of those same Kings. It’s not to be confused with 1 & 2 Chronicles which is a Biblical account of the Kings of Judah only and was written later.
