My son asked us if we could ask God any question what would it be. He said he would ask if he loved all of us so much, why did he choose the Jewish people as his chosen people. Why them?

Choosing Israel was God’s decision and He’s never offered any justification for it. But you should tell your son that what God has done for the Church far surpasses anything He has ever done or ever will do for the Jewish people. No other people in all of history has been blessed in the way God has blessed the Church. Nor will they be in the future. In fact Paul said the Church will be the example of the incomparable riches of God’s grace through ages yet to come (Ephes. 2:7).
