How does the Pope making negative comments about the Muslims fit into the end time events. This has antagonized the muslims and they seem to want retaliation.
I’m not sure there is a direct connection to the end times. I think the most obvious conclusion we can draw from this is that the Pope, a sincere and passionate advocate for peace, quoted a legitimate observation from the history of Islam. The Moslem response appears more than anything else to confirm the validity of the Pope’s observation.
Even the secular world is beginning to ask why Islam doesn’t exercise the tolerance toward other religions that it demands toward its own. If there is an end times illustration here it might be the one Jesus made in Matt 24:12, “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.”
