There are some prophecy experts who have alluded to the possibility of a significant time gap between the Rapture of the Church and the onset of the Tribulation as indicated by the inauguration of a treaty between Israel and the Antichrist. One teacher who has mentioned this in passing is (a well known prophecy teacher) but I do not find it explicitly explained in his writings. Do you have an opinion on this and does the Bible hint at this possibility?
The Bible doesn’t enlighten us on the possible duration of time between the Rapture and the Great Tribulation. In my view it will be at least 3 1/2 years because I place the Rapture before the beginning of Daniel’s 70th week, a 7 year period of which the Great Tribulation is the 2nd half. Assuming I’m right it couldn’t be less than that, although since the two events aren’t related it could be more.
