I recently read an answer of yours concerning the readiness of Babylon (follow up). At the end of your answer, you mentioned that you thought all bible prophecy including the 2nd coming would be fulfilled by the end of 2018. I’m curious as to how you came up with that particular date.
From my understanding of Matt. 24:34, Jesus said that the generation being born at the time of the first End Time signs would still be alive at the 2nd Coming. According to Psalm 90:10 an average Biblical lifespan is 70 years. The first major sign that the End Times are upon us was the rebirth of Israel in the spring of 1948. Add 70 years and you come to 2018. This is an approximation, not a prophecy, but when viewed from the perspective of current world events, it seems quite likely. Remember, the Lord said the world wouldn’t know the day or hour of His return in advance, but both He and Paul admonished us to be aware of the general timing. They couldn’t have said that unless it’s possible to discover it.
