I am reading the book of Mark and have a question about chapter 9. And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power. Who was Jesus talking about not tasting death?

Jesus was talking about Peter, James and John. Six days after He said this, He took these three disciples with him up the Mt. of Transfiguration. There they were momentarily transported to the time of the 2nd Coming where they saw Moses and Elijah talking with the Lord in His glory. They also saw the cloud that represents the Holy Spirit and heard the voice of God (Mark 9:2-8). Just as He had promised, these disciples had seen the time of the 2nd Coming before they died.
