Q. Can you please explain what are the treasures in heaven we are supposed to store up according to Matt. 6:19-21?
A. In addition to our tithes, the treasures we store up in Heaven are the acts of service the Lord asks us to perform on His behalf here on Earth.
Examples can be found in Matt. 25:35-36, and include providing food and drink for the hungry and thirsty, shelter for a stranger, clothing for the naked, comfort for the sick and visitation to those in prison.
They often go unnoticed by those around us and even we might not think they amount to much, but when they’re done as a favor to the Lord, they’re of inestimable value. (Matt. 6:3-4)
