Q. If someone believes in the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, yet doesn’t believe in the Rapture event, will they still go? I have many friends who say that they don’t “necessarily” believe in the Rapture, but are true Christians who have taken Christ as their Savior.
A. Believing that Jesus died for our sins and rose again is the most basic requirement of true Christianity (1 Cor. 15:3-4) and is necessary for inclusion in the rapture. Believing in the rapture of the Church is not a requirement of true Christianity. Therefore, all true Christians will be taken in the rapture, even those who don’t believe in one.
