What If We have It all Backwards?

Q

What if a lot of Christians don’t get raptured, and what if Christians who don’t know about the mark of the beast take it because they don’t know about it and were left behind? Sometimes I wonder what if half of us miss the rapture because we’re not living the way God wants us to live. Doesn’t the Bible say when we get to heaven only those who are pure of heart can actually go into the kingdom and the ones who are not have to stay outside the gates and work their way in? What are yours thoughts on this?

A

There’s not a single verse in Scripture to support the idea that some believers will not be taken in the rapture, or if they are they won’t be allowed to enter the Kingdom. These are man-made thoughts that don’t come from the Lord. If we have things backwards, then God’s Word is not the truth.

It’s called the Rapture of the Church, and its members have a righteousness imputed to them by faith (Romans 3:21-22). If you believe you’re a sinner and that Jesus died for your sins and rose again and have asked Him to forgive you for your sins and be your savior, then you’re in the Church and will go in the Rapture. If you don’t go it will be because you aren’t saved, not because you haven’t been good.
