Can you please point out where the commission is for the 144,000?? I see they are sealed but I don’t see where they are told to witness to the people of the earth or even to Israel all I see is they are sealed.
The 144,000 who will be sealed in Rev. 7 are called “servants of our God” in Rev. 7:3. Their purpose is not further explained, but most scholars believe they will be commissioned to spread the Gospel because in the New Testament that’s typically the role of God’s servants.
In Matt. 10:23 as Jesus was sending the 12 disciples to preach the gospel to Israel He said, “I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes.” Perhaps the 144,000 will be finishing the job the disciples only began.
