I’d like to first state that I believe in the pre-trib rapture, I also believe in the inerrancy of the Bible. However, sometimes I can’t help but wonder;
God is omniscient and has foreknowledge. So, if He knows who will accept His gift before the tribulation, why is it necessary for him to wait on the last person in the church to be saved to call the church up? It’s not as if he isn’t sure or doesn’t know ultimately who will accept Christ and be saved before the tribulation. Why not just Rapture us sooner?
Knowing you’re going to deposit money in your bank account tomorrow does you no good today. Until you actually make the deposit the bank won’t credit your account. It’s the same thing with God. Until we accept His gift of salvation, it does no good that God knows we will. We can’t be counted. When He gave us the freedom to choose, He obligated Himself to wait until we do.
