Q. I have always understood from Romans 11: 25-26, that all Jews will be saved as they have been hardened by God so that the full numbers of Gentiles can come in? Please help to further enlighten.
A. Romans 11:25-26 does not say all Jews will be saved. It says all Israel will be saved. That means all 12 tribes will be represented in Israel during the Kingdom Age (Ezekiel 48). In Romans 2:28-29 Paul said that in God’s sight being Jewish is more than outward appearance or physical behavior. It has to be internal and spiritual.
Jesus said that no one will see the Kingdom of God unless he’s born again (John 3:3) and no one can come to the Father except through Him (John 14:6) This includes both Jews and Gentiles.
Israel’s national repentance will take place near the end of the Great Tribulation and is described in Zechariah 12:10 .
