Your website ministry is incredible! My question – will the saints who are already in heaven be eyewitnesses of the rapture or simply have knowledge of its occurrence?
Oh, they’ll be eyewitnesses all right. Currently, their spirits are in heaven, but at the rapture, they will be getting their brand new resurrection bodies at the same time as our bodies are being made perfect and we’ll all arrive in the presence of the Lord together to begin our eternal adventure as residents of the New Jerusalem.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (1 Thes. 4:16-17)
For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed (1 Cor. 15:52).
