This week, we learned from Jack’s studies how to win our crowns, and about the three key principles the Bible teaches us about them. We had two cobras enter our people’s huts at night, but no one was harmed! And we celebrated two birthdays in our Children’s Church. 

This week, we completed Jack’s study on Hebrews. This includes his commentary on what he calls one of the most encouraging chapters in the whole Bible.  At our Children’s Church, little Joel was in the hospital with a severe ear infection but is now healing well. This week, we began Jack’s nine-part study on Hebrews. In Mexico, we’re beginning our summer with our kid’s group and prepping necessities for refugees and local families in need. In India, we’re researching ways to prevent snake attacks, and celebrating their first ever Father’s Day.

This week, we read two of Jack’s most popular articles of all time, and I introduced you to an amazing woman in India who met Jesus and is now healed of liver cirrhosis.  In India, summer is just winding down and in Mexico, it is just beginning. We have served many people in poverty since we began Gracethrufaith, almost 20 years ago (September marks our 20th anniversary!). We’ve seen that poverty often brings its victims not only unreliable food and shelter but also a lack of love and dignity.
