We’re getting our outreaches caught up here on the site! You can see our outreaches in India from last week here.
King’s Day
On January 6th, we celebrate the arrival of the 3 Wise Men to Jesus. It’s a big holiday here. We gather together and tell the Bible story. We each have a slice of the traditional King Cake and see who gets the baby Jesus figurine. This cake is baked into a ring (crown) with candied fruits to resemble jewels. Baked within will be figurines of Jesus. It’s a blessing to find Jesus, and each person who does has a role to play on the next holiday in February.
Groceries delivered
Our first food distribution of the new year is getting underway. We have the next bulk order delivered to us, and then we break it all up into individual bags for families.
Our Escuelita

One of the fun things this last year we’ve had while helping different families finish their homes is seeing so many different building styles. Olga’s son makes concrete columns and has given them to several families. Our crew is then making the arched forms, and this is a beautiful, quick, and economical way of building walls to cover the stairway.
We’re almost done with our time with this family, and we’re praying about the next project!
God is doing amazing things here, and I’m so grateful for your prayers and support that make it possible. Thank you so much for praying with us for those we serve together! ♥
