A glimpse of our week in Mexico.

At the local school
We spent time at the local school getting a better idea of how we can help our kids do well in their first time back in two years. We also got to see the kitchen in action and see what they need. We’ll be scouring the second-hand markets on the weekends to find the supplies they are missing.
Our escuelita
Our volunteers have mixed feelings about the change to in person classes now. In some ways, it’sbeen more work for us, because we are still supporting their learning but in a different way and with different challenges. Please pray for these kids in this transition. I don’t know how kids in other countries are handling it, but I have a feeling kids all over have been through more than they know how to process in the last couple of years.
We made Mother’s Day cards!
