This week in Mexico 7-5-24
Here’s a glimpse of our week of outreaches in Mexico.

Happy Independence Day to those of you in the US!
In previous years, we’ve often celebrated here with a picnic on the beach and sparklers for the kids. But this year I completely forgot about the holiday! Because it’s a regular work day here in Mexico, all our projects continued as usual, we had our Esuelita, and our crew at Olga’s house.
Olga’s house project
We are continuing our current project of saving our dearest volunteer, Olga, from flooding! Our community is built on a hill and one of the biggest concerns is rainwater drainage. When her neighbor made some changes, it directed gushing rivers of rainwater right into her house, which eroded her walls and eventually caused a river inside her home as well!
This is very hard to get pics of because this area is basically a ditch against her home where all the rainwater gathers and flows, eroding her walls. We’re working on getting the water diverted away to the side of her house, where it can flow down to the road instead of inside her walls!
Our kids group— Escuelita
Almost summer, then Back to School time!
Our kids here have one week of school left! Their summer break is always a busy time for us because we have more time with the kids, and we have that time to help all the families get ready for back to school with uniforms and school supplies!
Thank you so much for praying with us for those we serve together!
