Careless Words
Published: June 13, 2016Last night in our Bible study, we talked about judgment which I have no problems with at all. In regard to it, when we are faithful to confess our sins to God (say on a daily basis) for things we know are wrong such as envy, inappropriate words, hurtful actions, etc, will we be judged on them again when we see the Lord in the future? Since the Bible says we will be judged by every word or action, does this imply we are forgiven now but will be judged later or will God remove our transgressions as far as East is from West?
The High Priest’s Garments
Published: June 13, 2016My question relates to the priestly garments. Exodus 28:31-35 lists the garments for the High Priest to wear when officiating. But in Leviticus 16:4 the list for the Day of Atonement ceremony is different. What is the significance of that?
According To His Purpose
Published: June 13, 2016Romans 8:28 tells us God is working everything together for the good of those who love him and “are called according to His purpose” What does “his purpose” mean? Do all things work for the good only for those for whom God has a special purpose; a special task?
The Adulterous Wife And The Virgin Bride
Published: June 13, 2016I know a Bible teacher there who holds a meeting once a week and I am very concerned about this doctrine he teaches. He says that God has a wife, and that wife is Israel. Next, he says that Christ has a separate Bride. I have never heard this before. Can you provide either confirmation or correction ?
Do We Reap What We Sow?
Published: June 13, 2016My question is about sowing of seed and reaping. Do you believe it is Biblical to expect if I sow the seed of money I can expect a reaping of money? Or if I sow the seed of smiles will I reap smiles? The Bible does say you reap what you sow.
How Could Enoch And Elijah Go To Heaven?
Published: June 11, 2016Thank you for all you do, I have learned so much from you. My question is this. How was it possible for Enoch and Elijah to go into the presence of God before their sin was paid for at the cross? I know there has to be an explanation, but I can’t figure this one out. Can you please help me to understand? Were they thrust forward in time somehow to the cross? That is the only thing my little mind can come up with. Thank You in advance for your help.
Is There Something About The Rapture We’re Missing?
Published: June 11, 2016Is there something about the rapture that I and many others are missing? Perhaps you can bring some light to this. Many Christians, perhaps like me, believe that the pre trib rapture is sort of a Great Escape for people who don’t deserve to escape (like me) the hour of trial coming upon the world. It seems too easy. But perhaps we don’t see the rapture for what it really is. Is it true that the Davidic Kingdom cannot be set up on earth as long as the Church is on earth and that to remove the Church from the earth is the real reason for the rapture?
Personal Savior
Published: June 11, 2016I visited a nearby church the other day as I was thinking I would do some things locally (help at the food bank, etc) and wanted to do so with some other Christians. So I went to a Sunday morning service there. One of the things in the sermon that upset me was the Pastor saying that some talk about a personal savior and that is selfish. God is for everyone. I consider Jesus my personal savior as He is for many others and I do not consider that selfish. To me this Pastor is making it difficult for members of his congregation to believe in Jesus’ death for them.
Are You Ready?
Published: June 11, 2016I read and hear everywhere from all different sites that we all need to be ready when the Lord comes to Rapture us. I don’t understand this. What is it we need to do to be ready? My understanding is that we need to be saved to be ready, and that’s it! Am I missing something here?
A Third Testament?
Published: June 11, 2016Regarding your reference to a possible Third Testament in the Q&A titled Sin in the Millenium: This is a fascinating concept; since the world will be completely different from what Tribulation survivors were familiar with, it makes sense that a new life guide should be available for those survivors who wish to follow God’s commandments in a new age. Do you think that Jesus himself will be the Author of this Third Testament? I hope that you will further expound on this hypothesis.
