Once in a while I’m asked to do a study on a specific portion of Scripture. While we’re waiting for the other shoe to drop in the Middle East, I’d like to respond to one I received recently concerning a portion of the Sermon on the Mount commonly called “The Beatitudes”.

Am I Saved?
I have a question. I have prayed many times and asked the Lord to save me. However at times I feel like I must live right to be saved which I know is wrong but I don’t know how to stop. Plus I want to do things that I know is sin because it is fun even though I know it is wrong. Do you have any suggestions? Am I even saved?

Why Don’t They See It?
I went to a website where a Jewish teacher is encouraging Jews to return to Judaism, he doesn’t believe Jesus is the Messiah. He was well versed and gave many scriptures {his interpretation} to back up his beliefs. I’ve been studying the Old Testament and can see Jesus throughout the entire word. Why do some still not accept him? I must say he shook me a bit with his commentaries especially since he knows the Torah so well. However, I do believe Jesus is the Messiah and felt bad that I allowed that to get to me. Could you give your thoughts?

The Language Of Heaven
I am anxious to see every post and article that you write! A friend of my daughters asked me to ask you about what language we will be speaking in heaven? And if we would all be the same language? And will we be able to understand the language of the Holy Spirit? (Sorry that’s 3 questions.)
