I just got through reading your article about Paul, Timothy And The End Times. As I was reading, the passage of 2 Timothy 3:1-5 absolutely cut me to the quick. I have been greatly struggling and feel as though I would be lucky to be the person who gets in to heaven simply as the man who “slides in though the flames” in Corinthians 3:15. I feel that my faith is proving itself to be nothing more than a form of godliness whose power I am denying. Any words of encouragement and help would be a blessing.
I have a question concerning 1 Cor. 5:9-11 about not associating with believers who behave in certain ways. My brother is not a born again Christian, but we are witnessing to him, and yet his live-in girl friend claims to be a Christian. They both go out and get drunk etc. Should we not even associate with them because of that verse?
Regarding Hebrews 11:13, who does all these people refer to? For Enoch did not die, and which promises did they not receive? is this related to the promise in verse 39? Thanks for the great insights you share on this website.
