Are Children Accountable?

Published: May 4, 2016 (Originally published: May 6, 2016)
Q

I just read your statement on Children and the Rapture and you used Romans 7:9 as why children will be taken. Are you saying children are sinless till they reach the age of accountably? So they are not sinners when they are born? Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.

How Can Men Be The Bride Of Christ?

Published: May 4, 2016 (Originally published: May 5, 2016)
Q

Your site is still daily food for me, thank you so very much.

My question this time regards how to teach the concept of men and women being the “Bride of Christ.”

We know that means the “church.” However, some men have difficulty grasping the non feminine meaning of their being a bride, and also how they can be the “body” of Christ. Any suggestions?

Is Lucifer Satan?

Published: April 26, 2016 (Originally published: May 2, 2016)
Q

I was referred to your website from a friend and was reviewing some of your answers to your readers as well looking through your book. In one of your answers and in your book Children’s Stories of the Bible (The Adult Version) you state that Satan is Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12. I was rather shocked at this because the word Lucifer is not in any manuscript.

I have copied a quick study on this from a scholar that I read and would like to share with you. After you review this, please explain to me how and why you believe Lucifer is Satan and how that name is used when it is not in any manuscript? I would like a different opinion on this so I know all sides.

On Spiritual Warfare

Published: April 26, 2016 (Originally published: May 2, 2016)
Q

I have a question concerning what is meant by the phrase “spiritual warfare” ? Are the angels still loyal to God engaged in actual combat with the ones who fell with Satan? I understand that the important thing in being a Christian is following the teaching of Christ, but when I read about things such as this I can’t help but be curious.

Thanks for your time and your website! It continues to be a great tool in my Bible studies.

God bless.

What is the biblical definition of a person who has clean hands and a pure heart for the Lord? Just one who believes in Him or is it much more?

Q

My question for you, is about Passover. If Jesus fulfilled the law, why did He do passover the day before, on Preparation day. Is it because He was the Passover Lamb? (thus fulfilling the law!)

Germany And Ezekiel 38

Published: May 3, 2016 (Originally published: May 4, 2016)
Q

I have been reading some recent articles that seem to be advocating that Germany will be a major player in the Ezekiel 38 39 battle! Do you think that Germany could be Rosh rather than Russia?

Another Hebrews 6 Question

Published: May 3, 2016 (Originally published: May 4, 2016)
Q

I have received so much instruction, encouragement and wisdom from your writings. Thank you for allowing the Lord to use you. My question comes from Hebrews 6:4-6 which states: “It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.”

I have mulled this verse over and over and cannot seem to grasp it. This isn’t a cloaked stab at the OSAS argument. I am convinced, as you are, that we are saved by what we believe not by how we behave. I simply can’t make these verses align with anything else so that means I’m missing something. Can you help?

Will My Fantasies Keep Me Out Of Heaven?

Published: May 4, 2016 (Originally published: May 5, 2016)
Q

I have a question  about what Jesus said in Matthew 5:28 and what Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 5.  Will fantasies of sexual encounters with women I know keep me from entering into heaven? I know Jesus paid for it all, past present and future, but then I think of these verses. I’m currently battling this sin and it’s a tough one for me.  Could you put these verses into context with respect to the finished work of our most excellent God, King and savior!

What If We Sin In Heaven?

Published: April 26, 2016 (Originally published: May 2, 2016)
Q

Since the raptured Church will still have Jesus as our Savior in Heaven, if we happen to sin in heaven, will He still render to us the protections there as He did here on earth, interceding on our behalf before God the Father? After all, He promised to lose not even one of us from His hand.
