I know that there is a judgment seat of Christ and a Great White Throne Judgment in the Bible. Years ago I recall my Grandfather talking about a Bema Seat Judgment, but I can find nothing in my King James Version about it. He spoke of its meaning as the same as the Judgment Seat of Christ. Do you know anything about this?
The Rapture is near and I think a lot of my future life in Heaven. I agree with you that the only fireproof values of my life -which will not burn up at the Bema Seat Judgment – are those done in the Lord’s strength. I don’t think I’ve lived very much of my Christian life in His strength. I expect almost everything to go up in the smoke at the Bema Seat Judgment. Are the Bema Seat Judgments painful, its great shame unavoidable, and is it better if I brace myself for it?
I read gracethrufaith all the time, and I have a question re: the church’s judgment where we receive our rewards etc. I think someone called it the bema seat judgment or something like that. Do you know about that? Where can I find reference to it in the Bible?
Since he will still have access to the Heavenlies, will Satan be watching the Bride receive our Bema Seat rewards? I can’t imagine that such an incredible event would be tainted by allowing him to be there.
Who does Luke 12:47 and 48 refer to, i. e. who gets the beating? Is it church members at the Bema Seat or is it other people? Actually I don’t think that it is at the Bema Seat. But I heard a pastor on radio claim this. Can you please shed some spiritual light on this?
Recently I’ve been asked for biblical references as to why I believe that the bema seat judgment will take place during the Tribulation (or Daniel’s 70th Week). Obviously, I believe that the Rapture will happen before those seven years start. And, although I can find the references that say that there will be a judgment for believers, I haven’t been able to nail down ones indicating the timing. Could you point me in the right direction?
Since all Raptured Christians shall appear before the Bema Judgment Seat of Christ to give an account of things done during their lifetimes here, good or bad, I was wondering if you would expound more fully on a Scriptural passage found in 1st Corinthians, Chapter 3, Verse 15 (KJV).
I hear of crowns being awarded to the members of the church at the Bema Seat Judgment. In my mind and my heart I do not feel I deserve any crowns, awards or any acknowledgments for anything I may have done as a Christian on earth.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for a wonderful website!
I’m glad I discovered it and I am thoroughly mesmerized by the wealth of information and the delightful manner it’s presented.
Explain the difference between the Judgment Seat of Christ, where and when it takes place and what happens there, and the Great White Throne of Judgment.
