In your post about the Fall feasts, you quoted the following statement from Jesus, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age,” My question is, what age was being referred to here?
This quote comes from Matt. 28:19-20 where Jesus was speaking to His disciples about taking the Gospel into the world. The fact of the matter is that Jesus will be with us forever, but I believe He was referring to the end of the Church Age in this instance.
I think His point was that no matter when His followers went to make disciples of all nations He would be with them just like He was with the original disciples, and this will be true to the last day of the Church’s presence on Earth. That way no one could ever conclude that He was only talking to the ones who were with Him at the time.
